"Internet of Things Technology andApplications" course combines Internet of Things theory with engineeringpractice, in accordance with the teaching objectives based on "informationawareness, information transmission, information processing services andapplications", which should cover the important field and the latestTechnology, to achieve a comprehensive perception, reliable transmission,intelligent processing in Internet of things technology research andapplication. The main teaching contents constructed by theoretical researches,which include wireless sensor network energy-saving mechanism design,networking platform and protocol architecture research, near-field wirelesscommunication technology standards, and application practices, which includewireless positioning technology, information processing and service managementtechnology and intelligent information processing technology for services andmanagement. This course requires students to have a solid theoreticalfoundation of electronic technology, modern sensor and wireless networkknowledge, and master the design skills in sensing layer, transport layer andapplication layer of the Internet of Things system. The course will lay thenecessary knowledge and practical foundation for students who will furtherstudy the related technologies of network, radio and wireless communication,finally, be dedicated to the field in networking systems design and technologydevelopment of Internet of Things.
